Description

Named after Emmeline Pankhurst, who lived in Russell Square, on the site of what is now, the Kimpton London Hotel. Pankhurst was a leading British political activist in the early 20th Century, and organiser of the British suffragette movement, who was influential in the campaign for women to win the right to vote.
