Sweden

Introduction

With a strong English speaking population Sweden is a fantastic place for an educational tour, offering a range of meaningful site visits to organisations, NGOs, and educational establishments.

Sweden is one of the highest ranking countries in the world for quality of life, education and healthcare, as well as human rights and gender equality. This makes the country a unique and interesting location for a range of fields, but particularly for those focusing on education, health studies and criminology. Interestingly, Sweden also has a very high percentage of citizens with a foreign background, with over 25% of the population either being born outside, or with parents who were born outside of Sweden.

While many groups use Stockholm as their base, Anglo Educational Services has also worked with groups in Gottenburg, Malmö and Uppsala. Some educational programmes will also visit other countries such as Denmark, which enables the group to compare and contrast more than one system.
