Introduction
Once home to Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Pythagoras, Epicurus, and many, many other ancient figures, Greece is a fantastic place for groups to visit.
With locations such as the Acropolis of Athens and Delphi, professors looking to take their students on a faculty-led Study Abroad programme to experience the Ancient Greeks are well served by the options available. Most groups in Greece focus on the historical and archaeological elements but Anglo Educational Services has also arranged programmes for Art History, Greek Mythology and Theology, as well as Economics and Hospitality Management students.
There are ample opportunities for sports students to visit the homeland of the Olympic Games, and Government & Politics students to see how democracy was born and how it differed to modern-day concepts of democracy. Groups with a little more time to spare are not restricted to the mainland of Greece and can venture out on to the smaller islands, including Corfu and Mykonos.
