AES London Fall Semester Programme 2026

Programme dates: 29th August to 12th December, 2026

Study and Internship Programme includes:

  • Provision of three semester-length courses under the joint aegis of AES and UConn
  • Sourcing, supervising & assessing Internship placement for 14 weeks (up to 20 hours a week)
  • Delivery of Internship Seminar to complement the placement (Politics-related, if necessary)
  • Co-curricular and cultural activities
  • Student accommodation for 15 weeks
  • Orientation Program to include London Sightseeing (Hop on, hop off) pass.
  • Travel card for zones 1&2
  • Administration fee

Total price per student, including the services listed above: £14,795 .00*

*N.B. Students will have to pay £524 to UKVI for the visa, in addition to the AES fees (valid as of April 2025), as well as the cost of a transcript from the University of Connecticut at $500.

Pre-Departure

  • Enrolment process under the School of Record (SOR), including selection of classes
  • Skype pre-placement interview with experienced AES staff
  • Internship within a suitable organisation prior to arrival in London

On Arrival

  • Arrival orientation
  • Supervision of the placement
  • Full support during your placement including access to the AES internship office

  • 15 weeks accommodation in shared flats in travel Zone 1 or 2
  • Full access to AES London teaching staff
  • 3 courses under the AES/UConn SOR cooperative agreement

Housing

Students are housed in friendly and secure neighbourhoods in central London (Zone 1 or 2). All flats have a full kitchen and lounge area, with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms which accommodate between three and eight interns, depending on the number of bedrooms. The flats include weekly cleaning and internet access. Although conveniently located near a variety of attractions and shopping, students may need to commute to their internship site. This provides interns a real London workday experience.
