Accessibility and Inclusivity

Accessibility and Inclusivity

At AES Experiential Learning & Living, we believe every participant should feel welcome, supported, and able to take full part in our programmes.

Accessibility

  • Facilities: Many of our accommodations and study centre are accessible and equipped with lifts. If you need specific access information, please contact us in advance so we can advise on the best plans.
  • Learning Materials: Course content can be provided in alternative formats on request.
  • Accommodation Needs: Students with mobility, medical, or dietary needs should communicate their needs through their home institution in advance so that suitable arrangements can be made.
  • Support: Our staff can work with you to arrange reasonable adjustments for academics, housing, and the overall learning experience.

Inclusivity

  • Respect & Belonging: We value diversity in all its forms – cultural, religious, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic background.
  • Inclusive Learning: Our faculty and staff are trained to create an inclusive environment where all perspectives are respected.
  • Cultural Resources: AES supports students in London by providing guidance on religious practice, connecting with cultural communities, and meeting food needs. Students are also encouraged to join London Affinity Groups, which foster peer connection, shared experiences, and informal support networks.
  • Events & Awareness: Activities such as Diversity Day and intercultural workshops celebrate different perspectives and experiences.

Equity & Fairness

  • Equal Opportunities: Admissions, internships, and housing placements are conducted fairly and transparently, ensuring that no participant is discriminated against on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Zero Tolerance: Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
